One Online Course for Fall (September-December), 2025

4. One-on-One Private Online Lessons

What Your Child Will Receive:
- • Homework assignments after each lesson
- • Two mid-term exams and one final exam to assess learning progress throughout the school year
- • Debate competition or Mock Spelling Bee competition at the end of the school year

Course Calendar
General Information and Refund Policy
1. General Information
1.1. All tuition-related fees must be paid by the due dates as outlined in the schedule published on the CSSB website.
1.2. CSSB reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses.
1.3. Incomplete/Fail: The final grade given to a student who has failed to meet course requirements (e.g., non-passing grade on knowledge checks, assignments, or quizzes; failure to attend some or all courses, etc.).
1.4. No Show: A student who registers for a course but does not attend the study course, engage with the course content, or respond to reminders from the teacher and CSSB.
2. Refund Policy
2.1. Tuition fees should be paid online using the CSSB online registration system at the time of registration.
2.2. Discounts cannot be combined for course registration.
2.4. Fee deadlines are firm and strictly enforced.

2.6. Any fee refund will incur an administration fee of $30.
2.7. All courses can be refunded before the first lesson starts; otherwise, tuition will be saved as a credit for future use.
2.8. If you choose to switch classes, the difference in price between the new class and the original class must be paid.
2.9. A full refund will be provided if a course has been cancelled by CSSB. The administration fee will be waived.
2.10. No refunds will be given for No Show as defined above.
2.11. No refunds will be given to students receiving an Incomplete/Fail as defined above.
2.12. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Issued refunds by CSSB may take up to 10 business days for processing.
2.13. All credits will expire after 12 months; please use credits accordingly.
Multi-Term Course Refund Policy
2.14. We strive to provide flexibility and fairness to our students and their families. Below is our refund policy for courses purchased for multiple terms:
• Course Purchase: If a student purchases a course for three consecutive terms at the beginning of the school year (e.g., September), the total cost is $599.
• Refund Eligibility: If a parent decides to cancel the course mid-year, refunds will be calculated based on the number of terms studied and an administration fee.
• Refund Calculation: Per-term cost is $369. Administration fee: A non-refundable $30 fee will be deducted from the total refund.
Refund Amount = (Total Payment) – (Number of Courses × $369/course/term) – (Administration Fee $30)
• Example: If a student has completed 1 term and wishes to cancel: Refund = $599 − $369 (1 term) − $30 = $200
• No refunds will be issued for students who have completed 2 or more terms.
2.15. Refund Process: Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@canadaspellingbee.com. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval.
